All bred to Gordon Jones bulls this year.  Have used Hamco bulls in past.

The Vermeersch family have decided to disperse this excellent cow herd.  Approx 50% red and 50% black cows.  Steer calves averaged 605 lbs on Oct 2 with no creep.  Excellent udders and nice temperament.

Gordon and Shirley have moved to Morden and can't take the herd with them.  Excellent set of cows with good temperament.  Half the herd are 5 years old and younger!!!  Steer calves this year averaged 702 lbs and heifers 649 lbs with no creep

14 blk sim hfrs.  For the last few years Wayne has been buying JDV Land & Cattle's red heifers as Joe has been mostly keeping the black ones himself.  As Joe had lost his heifer bull last winter he sold all his heifers and Wayne was able to grab those fancy black heifers this year.  We have put them in this sale so you still have the opportunity to buy them when you see where they come from.   Bred to a Black Angus Bull that went out May 18, Same as the JDV herd.  Boostered with Express 5 and Blackleg in the spring as well.

Scour vaccinations annually.

The Lee family from Pierson were one of the early Simmental breeders in Manitoba.  Brian has been using Angus bulls the last number of years.  Steers still averaged over 600 lbs Sept 11!

40 Simmental Cows

Bred to Fullblood Simmental bulls.  Will calve Jan thru March.

Unfortunately Eric passed away this summer.  As a result, we are selling his 30 Simmental cows. The Gross family has always had one of the top Simmental herds. Their open heifers are highly sought after every spring as replacements. Kevin will also be selling 10 of his own cows.
